Framer Website: Photography Portfolio
As you immerse yourself in the gallery, you'll discover the harmonious blend of stillness and motion, where crashing waves against rugged cliffs coexist with the delicate flutter of a butterfly's wings. Each image is a testament to the magic that surrounds us, waiting to be discovered and cherished.
Challenges
Designing a photography portfolio website can be an exciting endeavor, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges.
Showcasing Visuals: The primary purpose of a photography portfolio website is to showcase the photographer's work effectively. The challenge lies in creating a visually stunning and intuitive layout that allows the images to take center stage while ensuring that the website doesn't become overwhelming or slow to load.
Maintaining Consistency: As a photographer, your style and niche might evolve over time. Balancing the need to showcase diverse work while maintaining a cohesive and consistent theme throughout the portfolio can be challenging.
Responsive Design: Ensuring that the website looks and functions well across various devices and screen sizes is crucial. Adapting the design to smartphones, tablets, and desktops while preserving image quality and user experience requires careful attention.
My Role
I was asked to create and Design a simple but yet interactive Portfolio for a Photographer. I use simple and pastel colours to keep the main focus on the pictures. By creating different sub-pages for every topic, I created a structure for the website, so the user would be easily guided and not confused.
